Do you want to serve families through the birthing process and be a team player at the hospital or home birth?!  Maybe you should think about taking a Birth Doula Workshop through Dona International.  This is a 2 or 3-day workshop in which you would receive 3 certificates both of which are the first steps in becoming certified through Dona International.  It is a fun-filled weekend filled with lots of different learning styles.  We would first do a 7-hour class on "Introduction to Childbirth Education"  and 3-hour Breastfeeding on Friday and then On Saturday and Sunday we would do a 16-hour workshop on becoming a birth doula.
